YOUR TASKS

Assist in design, code, test and debug software applications under the guidance of senior team members.
Work closely with software developers, project managers, and other team members to ensure software projects are delivered on time and within the specified budget.
Support the Quality Assurance team during testing phases by troubleshooting and fixing issues that arise.
Help in the preparation of technical documentation including project plans, design specifications, and user manuals.
Aid in the support and maintenance of the software development environment including tools, frameworks, and systems.
Participate in regular team meetings, contributing valuable input and feedback to encourage optimal team performance.
Keep abreast of latest software development trends and technologies, sharing knowledge with the team to facilitate continuous improvement.
Maintain detailed records and documentation of software development processes for future reference and quality assurance.
Adhere to company and industry best practices and standards for software development.
Undertake additional project tasks or responsibilities as directed by the project lead or manager.
Participate in peer code reviews to ensure high standards for coding and application quality.
Assist in the training and mentoring of junior developers and peers, fostering a supportive and collaborative team environment.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
Prior experience in software development or a similar role is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of modern programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, etc. and frameworks like .NET, AngularJS, etc. is required.
Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.
Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and logical thinking skills.
Experience with software development tools like Eclipse, Visual Studio, Git, or similar.
Ability to understand software specifications and effectively translate them into workable code.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in order to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Proactive learner with a strong desire to stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software development.
Strong attention to detail, ability to produce high-quality, error-free software applications.
