Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group announced on 22 July 2026 a ₹600 crore integrated superalloy manufacturing facility in Telangana. The project is planned as one of India’s few integrated plants for nickel-based superalloys and is linked to aerospace and defence manufacturing.

Project Profile
The proposed facility will cover 50 acres and will have an annual production capacity of about 5,000 tonnes. The plant will manufacture round bars, wires, forgings, castings, and tungsten carbide powders.

Location and Timeline
Commercial production at the Telangana facility is targeted for January 2028. The integrated manufacturing campus is planned at Hardware Park near Hyderabad International Airport, which is a major industrial location in Telangana.

Leadership and Funding
Dr. S.K. Jha, former Chairman and Managing Director of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited, will lead the project. On 20 July 2026, Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group raised $40 million, or about ₹400 crore, in a funding round led by Norwest and Skegen Asset Management.

Industrial Significance

The facility is intended to support India’s aerospace and defence supply chain with domestic production of nickel alloys. It is also designed to reduce dependence on imported nickel alloys used in strategic manufacturing sectors.
