Lutron is seeking service-focused person to join our Technical Application team at our office location in Gurgaon, India. This role is ideal for those who are passionate about delivering outstanding support and creating exceptional customer experiences. 

 

As a member of our team, you’ll provide technical assistance to a wide range of customers helping them get the most out of Lutron’s innovative lighting and shading solutions.


Responsibilities

Provide support by addressing inquiries about the setup, configuration, operation, and problem-solving of assigned systems via phone or email.

Troubleshoot and diagnose use issues regarding Lutron systems

Document problems and solutions in a central database, escalating them when necessary

Communicate effectively with other functions to meet customer needs

Develop technical expertise regarding Lutron products, systems, and services

Represent Lutron according to our Five Principles, particularly Take care of the Customer

Test and review issues in-house to offer a solution or escalate as needed.

Drive reported issues to closure as specified in the SOP.

Understand, embrace, and promote company culture.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and product teams to share detailed insights and feedback that drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech) in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering
Minimum, aggregate of 60% marks or a CGPA equivalent or higher. 
Minimum of 1 year of experience in troubleshooting, diagnostics, or a technical support role.
Knowledge of network, lighting, HVAC, audio, or video installation is a plus.
Proven analytical and problem‑solving abilities to effectively resolve customer issues.
Excellent reasoning and interpretation skills.
Proficiency in essential computer tools, including MS Office and web-based/self-help resources.
Knowledge of SQL (databases, queries, and tables) is an added advantage.
Ability to work in a 3‑shift rotational schedule (some shifts include weekends; total working days remain 5 per week).
